The Black Forest Fire was confirmed to have grown radically in size overnight. This NASA photo shows the size of fire Wednesday.

On June 12, 2013, the聽Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer聽(MODIS) on NASA鈥檚聽Terra聽satellite captured this image of the聽Black Forest fire聽burning north of Colorado Springs. Red outlines indicate hot spots where MODIS detected unusually warm surface temperatures associated with fires.
